dangolf18 Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 Haven't heard too much about these? Are they worth buying in your opinion? Appreciate any thoughts on these.
mash Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 I'll qualify my opinion by saying I've only had 2 so far, but they've been mediocre.
scradley Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 I smoked one last weekend for my brothers birthday, was sub-par compared to the Royal Robusto's
Lotusguy Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Smoked 3, didn't like them at all. Stay away from this overpriced mediocrity.
El Presidente Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 i would prefer a Royal Robusto over the LE. At this point, far more complexity in the Royal Robusto..far far more. The LE while solid is still closed and will need 3-5 years to unleash what it has.
vitruvius Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Hmm. I just bought a box of these in the Financial Year End Clearance sale a few days ago. I must admit that at the time, I thought it was the Royal Robusto I was buying. Might have been too quick on the draw. We'll see.
CdnLimitada Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 I too have thought of these as mediocre but will keep the rest for 5-7 years and see. Pricey so I have to hope...
marty922 Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Only had 2 LEs, but have 3 boxes of RRs. The LEs don't flick my switch at all right now but the RRs are awesome - very different beasts. Very tempted by the current RR offer on now B-)
Montecristox Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Haven't tried enough RR to say, but the EL robusto definetly need some time, love the flavours I can pick up now, but lots of other EL that smokes better now
