Pilsner14 Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Classic West Virginia/North Dakota! Just kidding friends. JD
Hypersomniac Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 That's my state right there. We have to make the national news somehow.
mazolaman Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Agonising... He may have been telling the truth though, which would be rare.
Guest rob Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Lol.. Reminds me of our esteemed Mal Meninga - who retired from an elite and distinguished football career and went into politics..... He last less than 30 seconds. Literally. He went on national radio to announce his new career.... And got to the 26 second mark.. Before he awkwardly stumbled on his own words and walked out.. Never to be seen again in that capacity. There's YouTube video of it for who ever wants to see the awkwardness.
CaptainQuintero Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 poor guy! You can feel the nerves coming off him
canadianbeaver Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Fired for 3 words. Won't do that again. Poor guy, so nervous.
CanuckSARTech Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Gawd, how nervous where they both?? You could tell that they both got thrown for a loop when he did that, and her almost even more so. After his curse, you just know that on their earpieces all they could hear was the producer yelling and flipping out, in all likelihood. So, her, she's trying to talk, to follow the teleprompter, and to introduce the new guy, when she's also likely hearing someone freak out in her earpiece. And then, when it's his turn to talk, he goes from just being nervous, to now completely locking up due to freaking out inside over what just transpired in the seconds before. Sucks. Gutwrenching to watch them both in that clip, and while a bit funny too since we knew the setup, I hope things work out for him (them both).
