How good are PLPC's?

I think I will pass on buying a box of these until I try one or two and see if I like the flavor profile. Already have Upmann,Bolivar, RG and Partagas shorts in my Petit corona collection and all are excellent.

I have a cab of PLPC and about half a dozen Montecarlos left... the PLPC are strong, a bit edgy sometime, but do have caramel, salt and serious richness. I thought I'd burn through them too fast, but I've managed to let some of them sit for a while, and fully expect them to reward. The Montecarlos are wonderful... have to smoke them slowly due to narrow ring gauge (to avoid flaring them up too hot), but amazing, especially for the size. I've found myself hoarding the remaining Montecarlos. I'll have to find some more, now that I think of it.

Oh, and I have Party Shorts too, and they've been at least as edgy and youthful. I haven't reached for them at all lately. Hopefully they'll mellow out, but they were about 50/50 hit and miss for me (great when they hit).
