Buying Cubans

Hello president and everybody

I am new to this forum. I found the topics attarctive. I used to buy my cubans from some swiss website before. I want to ask you and ask your clients here if they always get orginal cubans from your shop, is it delivered in time and in good condition, do you ship worldwide. I was amazed with the prices which made me wonder..i.e BOLIVAR BELICOSOS FINOS for $8.42 each, wow that's cheaper than the Dominican in NY.

I just read that you're authorised dealer for habanos, but also has been told that such Cigar cost $15 in Cuba, so how come it's half price in Australia

my advice, if you are in doubt, then just try a few and see if it works for you.

ps - unless prices have really taken a hike recently, those bolivars are a lot cheaper than that in havana.

Thanks Ken. I appreciate your input. No it's not a setup :-) probably I found paradise as you say. Sure you understand everybody's concern nowadays, specially the new, about fake cubans. I've been asking literally everyone about an honest supplier for cubans that I can reply on, till I found that swiss website, but I think I will make my purchases later on from Czar. I agree for a starter that I should try with a small box of 10 and see, anyway they have a minimum policy so I can not just ask for 3 cigars or so. By the way I like the spirit of this forum so I will stay around and definitly learn a lot.

I am not here to stir things up, sir. What things anyway?... Of course, I could have asked the owner of the website, but I always prefer to ask the costumers who wouldn't be biased... a normal practice for everyone before buying anything... this is what forums for. It's called democracy and opinions exchange, unless you're from Cuba. I don't think I offended anyone here. however a good spirited answer like that I recieved from Ken made me interested to start buying from Czar. while a reply like yours would definetly "bugger off" all Czar new clients, which is not for the best of their business. you should expect such normal questions from new members all the time, unless you're suggesting that all new members would "bugger off". I don't think you're pleasing Rob this way.

Exec.....Calm down, he did not mean any harm with his statements, just another one of us from the states trying to talk Australian. Just one thing, are you aware that this forum is operated by Rob? Therefore it is not like other forums because those of us who post here support Rob (mainly to keep Lisa happy....you will learn more on this as you read more). These are a great bunch of people and however you found the site, I would be thankful that you did. Rob and staff are the best in the business as you will find out if you try the product.

I'll have to agree with Ken. This is truly a cigar paradise. I consider myself a newbie and I've been surfing and seaching the web but nothing beats the cigar czar.

But it's not just the prices that attracted me here, it's the friendliness of the people of this forum and the excellent knowledge and helpfulness of our Prez and his crew that makes this place truly special. It's been a privilege :-D

I'll let my real world experience answer some of your questions - I recently was considering trying a certain vitola I had not had before but was looking to try one of the "lesser known" brands from Hanbana. I said as much in a note to Lisa and Rob ---- they got back to me that after going through the few boxes of these they had in stock - they did not think I woulod be happy with the purchase and recommended I consider something else for the moment.... They even gave me a few suggestions - all of which were LESS MONEY than the original box I was looking for....

Thanks all for the helpful comments. I have to say that I am impressed with the idea that the website runs a forum as well as a shop, which means that they're not about hit'n'run business or a one-time selling, yet it shows that the operator/s are into biulding long-lasting community of satisfied costumers. I have seen many fancy websites but not as real as this one. This definitly will make czar my first choice if not my only future supplier for Cubans. My apologies if I didn't knew about such community before and was in doubt. I consider myself lucky that I found such website during my google search using some keyword that I don't remeber now have a great day all, and I am looking to participate with all of you in other threads.

Dear Exec. Concern of fakes is justified because there are plenty to be had. I am sure the first Cohiba I bought in the Bahamas was a fake. I was referred to this vendor from a personal friend and was as green as they come about cigars when I started. Most of us have not seen the tobacco cut, curred and rolled in Cuba so we can only testify to what we believe to be true.

Robs cigars are the real deal. Quality is great and the service is unsurpassed. You have stubbled on to the best overal vendor of Cuban cigars on the planet. Keep your cool there Ken.;-)

I have not found prices better anywhere and he will not sell me poor cigars. He does a lot of business in his home area and keeps the best for "special clients". You could be one of those.

Rough entry into the forum man. Please understand the concern that some may have when our friends at Czars are put to questions that we already know the answers to so well. I understand that you don't know them well yet but when and if you do all this will be humorus.

Rule to remember

1. Rob is full of ****(and cigar knowledge)

3. All the members are full ****(cigar experience varies widely)

Exec I understand your concern and I took my time to observe things on this forum and got to know the flow before posting and, ultimately, making an order. Nothing but great service and quality merchandise. Hell, El Prez even sent me free ones once for tipping some football teams that play in some competition somewhere in the US!

My post requires clarification.

We are NOT a US supply operation. 80% of our private clients are Aussie based. We also have many private clients in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, UK, Sweden, New Zealand, Israel and Papua New Guinea. We have not become Australia's largest Habanos s.a retailer by accident.

I hate using the term client. We have always run our business as a family enterprise. I understand it is impossible for everyone to visit our home, however the forum allows everyone a real life experience as to what our home is like....every day. The banter that goes on here is identical to what goes on at CZAR House.

What irks me is when somebody shoots off their mouth without thinking. You signed up as a member so I assume you read the rules. Yet you decided to walk into our house and as an opening ambit stick a knife between the ribs questioning authenticity. F***K You.

We have no need for new clients but new friends are always welcome. The people here have earned their stripes and each others friendship and loyalty.
