There has been a lot of talk in recent years about the current season being too long and reverting it back to 60 games. Players can stay healthier for the playoffs, games count more, etc. etc. I'm glad it's back and everyone can get back to doing what they are paid to do - ENTERTAIN US. I don't see a need to shorten the season. And I don't think the business side of the equation would allow for fewer games. If they wanted to make each game more meaningful they should get rid of the 3 point game. It's ridiculous that teams that can't get the job done in regulation can skate into the playoffs because they're good at getting to OT. There shouldn't be any points for losing.
