MountMandolin Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Hello all! I have been soaking up the wisdom here like a sponge. Or, at the very least, trying to. So much to learn. Have kind of gone into this full tilt lately, and I am enjoying learning about and trying new CC's all the time. My poor B&M owner is getting less and less business though, but lucky for him, he has a devoted customer base. And a benefit of this is that I get to bring him a little something from my humidor from time to time, and he sure seems to appreciate that! Just figured it would be fitting to say hello here. I look forward to participating in this community and continuing to learn from you all.

MountMandolin Posted December 14, 2012 Author Posted December 14, 2012 Thanks for the welcomes, folks! Glad to be here! Ah yes, and edit to say: JY0, the day I left Western NC was the saddest day of my life thus far. Well, probably not THE saddest, but you get my drift. I lived in southern Madison County, about 45 minutes from downtown Asheville. I miss it terribly, and yes my avatar is Mount Pisgah. Currently in the foothills in northern Alabama, where the family is from, but I fully intend to return to the "real mountains" one day, albeit farther north in Vermont or New Hampshire. It is far, far too warm down here for my liking. And yes, I sit outside in 10 degree (F) weather to smoke cigars when it's necessary. And it is always necessary to smoke a cigar when I want a cigar. So anyway, that's my longwinded introduction, I suppose. Thanks again for the welcomes folks, I feel right at home already. Had a nice 898 Var earlier. Always enjoyable.
duwan Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Howdy. I'm over near Charlotte. I do have a place up in Nantahala. Spend most of my holidays and long weekends up in Appalachia. Finest place on this earth.
