Hey Guys,

this has been mentioned on the main forum, the watering hole, but thought id post it here too. Movember starts tomorrow, and I reckon it would be tops if we could get a group to grow a mo and most importantly support beyond blue! Movember aims to change to face of mens health, by supporting prostate cancer awareness and Mens Mental health initiatives. one of the best causes for blokes to jump on i reckon, as its so relevant and true.

bit of a funny story, did this a few years ago when i was working as an aide at a school. organised a team, raised a fair bit of dosh and got in the local paper. the reporter came to photograph us at the end of nov, and one of the teachers had a few whisps of hair to show from a month of growing, he actually drew a moustache on with a permanent marker for the photo, looked the real deal in the paper! still had alot of fun though

good to see ya on board mate, no reason why you cant start up a MOTL UK team!

by my calculation, you still have about 11.5 hours to get some people together until movember starts in your neck of the woods.

As I already have facial plumage, I cannot participate in the contest. I will be glad to donate a box of rubber gloves and suggest performing free prostate screenings at Czar HQ. If you trained the staff that were serving drinks at Havanthon, you could probably collect sizeable donations for these screenings. I might even fly over for such a checkup. All in the interest of maintaining a healthy lifestyle of course...

Now that the team is up and running, we should come out with a slogan. at the moment, our slogan is the default "changing the face of mens health" but i reckon we could come up with one that also describes our brotherhood through the leaf. one that has been suggested:

"We dont care about oral cancer but we care about this"

votes or suggestions?

I'm in, or at least something is in. My first one was odd though Right in the middle of the exam I noticed he had both hands on my shoulders. Somebody tell me what I NEED TO DO. WHAT DO YOU NEED FOR THE PROOF? tHE GLOVE, THE STICK OR THE SMEAR CARD?lol

I'm signed up to the irish Movember site so can't join the group but i'm there in spirit.

I'm just hoping Cuban customs have heard about Movember and don't think i'm some dodgy looking character!

Goon on you chaps..I did it last year with fairly pathetic results, but raised plenty of cash though.

I saw a nun in Montenegro recently, who put my tash to shame.....
