Skyfall and Casino Royal are the best two Bond movies IMO.

The main reason why they worked is because of Craig and he is my choice as the best Bond. He sells it in so many ways the others cannot.

I think alot of people often feel loyal to pick Connery and I do like Connery as my second selection, then followed by Brosnan.

Absolutely, finally they could make a script that was parallel to the acting capabilities of the one playing Bond. Craig's acting talent is far and above any of the others, which is why they could use a script equivalent, which makes for a fantastic movie, (movies)

On another note, what do you guys think of Judie Dench as M. I don't like how she's always pissed off at Bond. "Bond, what the hell do you think you were doing?!?!?". I don't advocate violence against women, but Bond should've just slapped her. I'm sick of her lousy, angry one-liners. Rewrite the script for her...

Just want to revive this and express that Skyfall is by far, no contest, the best Bond Movie in the Franchise on many many levels and pays a special underlying anniversary homage to the old school bond from the beginning and especially from the novels that, most "Easter eggs" were easily picked up on by Bond Traditionalists. It was great. The acting by everyone was phenomenal! The story line was fantastic and the cinematography was breathtaking. If you have a chance to see it in true IMAX, it makes a huge difference. Daniel Craig, above and beyond, exhibited the best acting in Skyfall over any other Bond or Bond movie. It's in my new TOP 5 favorite movies list!

for me, casino royale closely followed by skyfall but casino royale does stand out. an absolute cracker. craig the best bond (let's just blame the director and script for quantum). connery unique. dalton closest to craig. brosnan was getting better each film (dangolf18, it is beyond me why you like goldeneye so much. it is by far the least of his four - might have been better if they had not been turned down by paulina porizkova. thought that whoever it was they ended up with one of the least of the bond girls). roge moore by far the worst of all bonds. played it as a joke role. i still get angry when i think they actually dressed him up as a clown. it suited him, not bond.

I don't know. I think it was the first bond I saw. Nostalgia maybe. It was a good first impression of bond.
