canadianbeaver Posted October 4, 2012 Author Posted October 4, 2012 Cigar wise, we brought a Tupperware with some unbanded naughty ones, including Hamlets, Siglo 3's and Cazadores. When we ran light, we procured some local fare: Ashton Cabinets and Ashton VSGs, unfortunately the best we could find.
MC4 Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 If you are in Los Angeles area, and have some extra time for a cigar break/ mini HERF, let me know.
canadianbeaver Posted October 4, 2012 Author Posted October 4, 2012 Back in Toronto now, but the trip was fab. Spent 80% of the time at my BIL's house in Vista, CA.
BostonJRay Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Any chance you visited the restaurant Nepenthe on the big sur? Food is just meh but amazing view. Kind of a pub type feel in a tree house. Great wine and beer list.
canadianbeaver Posted October 5, 2012 Author Posted October 5, 2012 We went to a restaurant in Cardiff by the Sea called Chart House. Our table was right at the window on the beach with the surf coming in. This family was creating these giant bubbles with string hoops. We had crab cakes, coconut shrimp, ahi tuna and mahi with toasted walnuts and mango. And Caifornia wine of course.
