1998 Bolivar Corona

Built like a brick house. Not too loose, not too tight :D Beautiful, silky corojo wrapper. Dirty, leathery, and espresso flavors off the bat. Aromas of exotic spices, roasted nuts, and sweet pastries off the bat.

Spices and tannins become apparent in the 2nd third.

The last third remained med full in body. The dominant flavors were cocoa, coffee, leather, dirt, and exotic spices.

It's really too bad that the corona is an under appreciated vitola. This has to be my favorite size. I'm happy to have multiple boxes of Partagas, RA, and Bolivar Coronas. I will mourn the day that I run out of this vitola.
