Heard about it so much in the forum. Finally pulled the trigger when El Prez had a special last week. Just got it today and smoking one right now OTB. It's a Nov 2011 box. I can only think of two words, delicate and balanced. Even though it's going for a little more than the PLPC but I think this has certainly taken the 'go to cigar' spot. Still in the first third and what's hitting me is butter and cream and milk coffee.

Second third has a stronger tobacco flavour but with some sweetness to it. The coffee tones are now more cuppacino like than latte in the beginning. The burn thus fair is pretty even and corrects itself.

Final third now. The strength has picked up a bit and there are hints of roasted almonds. Overall, this is one that I will pick up anytime any day like a 2009 Beaujolais.

Had one last night by the fire at a friends house after his grooms dinner. Excellent cigar. My favorite corona cc so far.

... probably in the top 5 cigar in the current, highly diminished catalogue. Many coronas smoke this way, or they used to when they made them!!! -Piggy

Just got my box too from the daily sale... Beautiful wrappers and smell. Cant wait to smoke one, but I am gunna let them rest a month or two before I do. Glad to know Nov 11 production is good.

And they get even better with a couple years of age. My 09s are superb.

Had my first qdo a couple of nights ago. Really enjoyed it and it paired will with the nutmeg in the beer

They're a strange cigar for sure, I had a box of 01's which were by far the best box I've smoked through, some were plugged but they were just pure vanilla. I've a 2006 box which still hasn't reached it's potential yet and a 2010 box which is a long way away. I'm thinking they need a minimum of 8 years to get the best out of them, so similar to QDO. Most stock around seems to be 2006 so they are probably good for a pick up!
