Postman made me happy yesterday!

Recommended Posts

Got my first box of BHK 54 from Oz. I had a single 56 a few weeks ago and was impressed, but a whole box of the 54 was simply jaw dropping. I don't know that I've ever seen such a nice box. The BHK box is far nicer than the 1966 box, which I find odd given the price difference. This box will certainly be on display once it's empty. I've never had a 54 before (will try one Saturday night after a big steak dinner), but I'm certain I won't be disappointed.

Cheers,

Greg

Man, I got to buy me some... can't wait for my friend to go to Cuba in september. These cigars are stunning. Hope you will enjoy them as much as I do.

Those boxes are great, it's too bad it only holds 10 cigars.

Agreed! A 50 cab version would be awesome. :)

with the subject title it really could have gone in any direction but as it was BHK's, they certainly look good.

If Kate Upton was the postman I would have not cared about the cigars. :)

It would sure be beautiful, but not so much for the wallet!

Congrats! Never had the 54, but had 3 52s from a box I bought a year or two ago. They are truly something special IMO.

Tried all

Tried all 3 Bhk and this is my favorite. Also have a box from CZ and I'll definitely be keeping the box when the sticks are smoked.

Cheers

I'm smoking my first 54 at the moment and I have to say it's one of the best cigars I've ever had. My palate isn't sophisticated enough to really describe the flavors, but I know I've tasted some light cocoa, cream, leather, and cedar. The burn is perfect. Nice even burn with lots of smoke. It's the sort of smoking experience that leaves a grin on your face with each puff. I think I actually like this one better than the 1966... though that's still a damned fine cigar.

Cheers,

Greg

  • 2 weeks later...

Ummmm....your lawn needs a cut.

;):P

Great looking sticks there. Nice grab! :2thumbs:

Ha ha! Funny you should mention that. Had a few days of rain that week and the grass shot up pretty good. Mowed the grass the next day after a day of no rain and all was right with the world:

A couple apples fell off the trees while I was mowing and the Beagles decided to play ball with them. I wish I could be entertained so easily. :)

Cheers,

Greg
