it is one thing having a gibbering dill as prime minister (and not much better waiting in the wings), provided we keep them at home and don't let them loose on the rest of the world but, (and i am reminded of 'dirty rotten scoundrels' - was rupert the idiot brother?) you really don't want anyone outside knowing that they exist.

so our moronic prime minister swans off to the G20 in rio and then lectures europe about how to run an economy. please don't blame us - we all hate her too. in reality, you would not let her and swan ("world's best treasurer" - just ask him) run a tuckshop's finances.

when a mate bemoaned the embarassment of it all, this was the response of another mate - "bemoaning Miz Gillard’s performance is like teaching a pig to sing – you’ll only frustrate yourself and annoy the pig".

That's the worst about being an Australian voter at the moment. It's like choosing between the plague and cholera... :(

i believe that these days, the plague is actually easy to cure. not so sure about cholera. i remember being innoculated for it many years ago - made me as crook as the proverbial for a week. or that might have been yellow fever. i do remember i needed several days off from work after taking my polio syrup. could not believe the bosses bought that one.

but yes, things are dire.

what could possibly have possessed the dim-witted woman to come out with that crap? does she really believe her own pr? no one could be that arrogant and ignorant at the same time. okay, krudd perhaps but surely no one else.

I'm only 25 so it's very concerning for me to see the carbon tax and mining tax come to pass when we are doing so well from mining oil & gas projects. I work in the mining oil & gas industry in both WA and QLD so if China goes to **** I might have to stop buying cigars & find another job!

We'll be stuck with uncompetitive manufacturing due to unions bullying up construction and logistics wages to unreasonable levels.

Hey! I'm in logsitics! My salary isn't unreasonable... :lookaround:

Nah, mate. I work for an evil multi-national, bent on the total domination of the Australian groceries and general merchandise market... in other words, I work for Woolies!

That's the family business, run by my father. When I put my hat on for that business, I totally agree about the ridiculously high cost of logistics! As you know, sending stuff across the country is bloody ridiculous!! :dollarsign::surprised:
