Well today i decided to try brazo's dry age cheating recipe on some rib eyes i acquired. The rib eyes I are about an inch thick, good marbling, etc

I will update with more pictures as time goes on

Looking forward to this which sounds strange to say when I'm not eating it!

Also the label goes into a lot of Health & Safety detail, a lot more than we'd have in the UK. I guess better consumer protection arising from a more litigious society.

Going to follow this closely. Thanks for sharing. G

about 14 hours till cooking time I just flipped the steaks over and to my surprise some how I went from 4 steaks to 3 steaks. While I was in downtown pittsburgh all day my dad took it upon himself to cook one. I guess he couldn't wait.

Here's a pic of the 3 remaining steaks they have turned a nice dark red color now and nice crust has developed on the surface.

took the steaks out of the fridge at 2 pm as i planned to cook them at 4 pm

after 10 minutes of tenting there was a actual pool off wonderful meat juices laying on one of my steaks

sorry to those who thought i was going to photograph the eating process the steaks was just to damn good to put my fork down to take pictures

Also forgot to mention right I enjoyed these fine steaks me and my parents left to go to NJ to see our cousins Kevin (Ophidion) being one of them I'm sure this trip shall produce its own thread. Because I foresee massive amounts of cigars being burned to the ground this weekend

I highly recommend it the steaks were amazing can't wait to do it again
