watch fiends...need help

hello all

so i am vacationing in switzerland and there is a watch store going out of busines and has all watches 40% off... two struck me as being nice and i was hoping to get some info on whether or not they are a good deal and worth picking up

first is a hamilton khaki xwind model number h77 616 533 which would be $1200

second is maurice lacroix model number pt6197 tt003 331 for $2500

this afternoon is the last chance i have to pick them up until monday

I am not an expert not even a connoisseur in this area but $1200 for a Hamilton Khaki doesn't sound like a 40% discounted price to me…

I did a quick search on the web and I've found that model priced at €949 (= roughly $1211) on Amazon Italy…

I love Hamilton watches and personally have four of them. I don't know that model specifically but the price doesn't seem like its in the 40% off category. Nice time piece though!

the hamilton was only 20% off the price of 1575 swis franc... i was more interested in the maurice lacroix

A quick search on my iPhone using your text, maurice lacroix model number pt6197 tt003 331, showed lots of prices on line from 2500. - 3200 euros. Check out what you find? I love high end watches too so I completely get it .

thanks of course i looked online but i know many watch companies dont certify watches sold online so i am always wary of going by online pricing to see what they really cost.
