Thanks everyone :D

Really amazing to hear all your congratulations (and words of advice on cigar stock-level and sleep!)

My best mate's wife gave birth to a baby girl- Paige- around December last year, and he has got me 'hitting the books'. It's hard to explain exactly how I feel right now, let alone how I imagine I will feel in 7mths time.

Thanks again, friends :)

Congratulations Ryan.

All I can say is that you need to buy now while you can, cause it is only time you have to buy.

Your life now is not your own and smoking cigars is now more a time management issue. All for the better.

1) Take your wife on a "babymoon" of some kind for sure

2) Don't bring a camera into the delivery room :)

3) Buy her something nice for after the baby is born

4) After 3 months go on weekly dates (babysitter or family to watch baby is a must)

5) Load up on your movie watching NOW!

6) Make sure to pay the same amount of attention to your wife after the baby wraps you around it's little finger

7) Get ready to love someone more than you ever thought possible

It's a great ride, so enjoy!

Congrats my friend!

Best to prep the backroom at work with a nice cot or inflatable mattress. Can't have you taking a kip on the showroom floor...

Congratulations. A great trip about to start for you.

As a proud and happy father of two (son is 3 3/4 years old, daughter is 3 months old), and having been able to share some of those joys with my online family here, it's definitely great to see others join in on the fun.

Kudos and congrats to both you and the Mrs. Cheers and best wishes for the three of you in the coming months.

First drink Saturday week is on me!

Thanks Prez :ok: I'll make sure I turn up thirsty!

Congratulations! In about five months, I'll be joining you in that endeavor, as my 1st is on the way.

Hey, congratulations mate!

Congratulations!

I became an instant dad (at the young age of 43) back in December, when I married my lovely wife, who has two children from a former marriage. They are wonderful kids and have passively reorganized my priorities, to where I now know what matters in life, and just as importantly, what doesn't. It is a great responsibility imparted on me, but is just sheer joy to see them grow and change (I've been a part of their lives for almost three years). Certainly one of the top three things that has happened my life, tied with marrying my wife, and my parents adopting me when I was an infant.

Good luck, and again, congratulations on what will be your greatest blessing in life.

Cheers,

Joe

Congrats Ryan. I am in the same boat as you, albeit a month ahead! Funny that we sat next to each other at dinner at the Figurados event and must have both known but didn't say anything! We can high five each other at Cohibar!

Again, thanks to everyone for the kind words... next post will hopefully be to officially welcome him\her into the world in December.
