jprice344 Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Hi All, Great forum you've got here. I've been a cigar lover for the last 10 years or so. Being in America it took me about a year to find my way into Cuban cigars but I am sure glad that I did. Cigars for me more than a simple consumable. They are a tool that can be used to better enjoy life. For hours or sometimes days after a really good smoke things are just better somehow - more relaxed, enjoyable, mellow, etc. Also a fantastic excuse to spend time with friends and enjoy great conversation. What I love about cigars is that there's much more to it than just the cigar itself. There's a lot more under the surface - the kinds of things the cigars can lead to beyond just a great tasting smoke. New friends or strengthening bonds with old ones, relaxation and stress relief, a mini vacation in a day, and so much more. I can find things that I enjoy about all of the marcas (that I've tried). Some of my current favorites are a delicious box of JL # 1's from '01, SLR A's from '03, and a box of the Monte D EL's from '05 that are smoking fantastic right now. I look forward to enjoying some more time here and getting to know some of you a little bit better. Jimmy
