i would have to say spirits, not only can you enjoy them straight, on a hot day you can turn them into a cocktail with all sorts of flavours. Cant forget all the different types of spirits, with what they are made with such unique flavour profiles.

My thoughts exactly...

Purely conversational, I still think wine the most versatile - all the varietals, styles, regions....

Summertime - chilled fizz, morning, noon, night - add juice if you like. Any number of whites, and quite a few reds as well that will take a slight

chill. No matter the season or occasion, there is a wine to fit the bill....

I will go with spirt, There is a ton of mixes and types I am no where near to even sampling all of them.

It is a really hard question and my constantly changes depending on the situation but over all going with spirit.

Such a painful question....while I would miss my beer and wine, I'd die without my white russians or single malts. :buddies:

I would have to say wine...I was always a beer man but since developing Gout a few years ago my consumption has dropped dramatically :( Thankfully i have always enjoyed wine and it doesn't seem to be a gout trigger for me :ok: Spirits are more of a seasonal thing. I tend to drink lots of G&Ts in the summer months but otherwise it's just the occaisional cocktail.

Beer is in the clear lead, followed by single malts describes most nights for me.

Wine, why not

In the end alcohol wins!

hic!

Beer, or Micheladas to be more specific.

Being from Kentucky, there is only one answer.....Bourbon!! Warms you up when it's cold and can be great with a cube of ice as well. Not to mention how it goes with my favorite CC's! But I don't like being backed into a corner on this one.
