mattdivo Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Tried this stick for the first time last night. Frankly, it was disappointing. No evolution, no richness, no interesting flavour profile, no complexity...nothing. The only flavour I got out of this smoke was a musty cedar, probably as a result of the cedar sheet wrapped around each cigar for packaging (hence, "en cedro"). Lackluster, at the best of times. I only began to enjoy it at the nub, probably due to the built-up tars that were contributing to the flavour profile. I rate it 80. I should stick with the Bolivar PC and Partagas Shorts.
Lotusguy Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Haven't had much luck with them either (or the RyJ Mille Fleurs, for that matter) - they are yardgars for me now and I can't wait to get rid of the remainder of my box so I have space for something nicer in my humi. Ugh - just checked - I have 19 left... maybe I should try to just sell them.
Lotusguy Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Claus I don't want them I wouldn't even think of passing those on to you, brother! Ditto for my remaining Mille Fleurs.
Lotusguy Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Just sold my remaining Mille Fleurs and Coronitas
CanuckSARTech Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 I've had some nice ones here and there, but they definitely are hard to find in getting a nice box of them. I have some 2007's that are turning out to be very decent, all things considered, including their cheap costs.
