First cigar of 2012 competition

trying to get this in before the deadline. After a long day of being boss on the construction site I have a long drive to the city dump to unload the days trash from tearing out a big bathroom. This will be my first diplimaticos that I have had the pleasure of having. I aquired this particular dip 4 in a trade with CanuckSARtech (Thanks by the way)And it is a beauty with a nice colorado wrapper with minimal veins and good oil content. so I will try and update with my thought when I get back Home.

That's a nice little NY smoke you have there! I have been enjoying the smaller brother, the Dip5. With a little time on the box, and only a few more to go, I wish I had more back up boxes. Cinnamon, Nutmeg, srinkled over a cappucino is how I describe them. What a shame they are gone. Hope you enjoyed!

you and me both brody, i wish I could track down a box of dip 5's, great little minuto. HSA needs to bring back the dip 4 and 5...RE, LE, reg production, vintage, whatever, bring it back.

so 5 hours later im finally done with work and get to catch up on my favorite site. The Dip 4 is now one of my favorite new smokes. The box this was from was Feb. of 09, so it has some good rest on it. I found it similar to the box of Monte 4's i have now but alot smoother. I have never been able to pick out the small nuances of flavors that others describe cause I smoke cigarettes like a frieght train at work, but I got some great coffee and maybe cocoa notes and some other light sweetness. it is a Hell of a stick and I give it a 91. I would love to get ahold of a box of these. If anyone has some they hate, let me know.

Im with Riaz on this one, bring it back in an EL or something so we can at least stock up on a treasure that is truely a tragedy that it was cut. Makes me want to protest H.SA
