Not sure if it was the quantity of cigars or something else but right now my palate is whacked. Five cigars from 5pm to 2am. Four great (VR Famoso, Cohiba Siglo VI, Partagas P2 and RASS) and one poor (local Cancun fabrica Buena Vista Short Churchill).

What do you eat or drink to recover your palate?

I find yoghurt to be quite stabilizing + No smoking days for a week.

as mentioned i'll not smoke for a few days, drink lots of water.

I find that a really good sprint workout and 20 minutes in a steam room is the key. It also does the trick for getting rid of smokers breath if your wife can't stand the smell.

Thanks guys. Lemme weigh the options here.

1. Brisk workout. Nah!

2. No smoking for a few days to a week. Nah!

3. Yogurt. Maybe.

4. Lots of water. Yup!

I will start with lots of water and no cigars today and see where things are mañana.

apples and tea for some reason, works for me plus lots of water...

Peanuts fix me. I have a bowl on the go for in between each cigar but I only ever get to 4 sticks in a big day.

Not quite sure why but cold green tea did the trick and refreshed my palate. Should be back to one stick a day today or tomorrow. 5 on NYE was too much but when you add in 4 from the day before and 2-3 per day for a few days before that it's amazing I can taste anything at all.

I take a few days off. Generally I don't smoke cigars on weekends just to let the palate have a respite.

Mondays cugars are some of the best of the week :lol3:
