Guest Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Hi all, hoping to have some fun here and catch up with fellow smokers in melbourne for a relaxing session. I enjoy single malt scotch (even have a small collection of keepers). Also love belgian chocolates. Love to sit outside and relax to a glass of scotch and some chocolate with a fine cigar, shame the wife hates the smell just means more quiet time lol. Been smoking active for around a year but used to smoke the odd few here and there. Duane.
TonyV Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Hello Duane and welcome to the forum. Wishing you and yours a PROSPEROUS and HAPPY NEW YEAR.

NJP Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Hey Duane, welcome from another Melbourne member. I'm a single malter as well when I'm not in self imposed rehab for bad form. Glad to see another Newbie from Melbourne. Have a good start to the year mate. Cheers Nic.

NJP Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 thanks for the welcomes. Nic whats your favourite single malt? I'm loving the Ardbeg 10yo at the moment Mate I tend to have quite a few btls on the go and pair the scotch with the cigar. Oban with the big full bodied sticks, Dalwhinnie with Upmanns and Glenmorangie with Bolivars. If I am however left unsupervised with to many open btls and a double corona I have a new best friend every glass.
bolivr Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Welcome Duane, enjoy the next couple months of warmer weather with some great smokes On the topic of single malts I have been enjoying one called Lark, distilled just over the water there in Tasmania. Nice smooth drop.
cottierm Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 Welcome to FOH Duane! Although I am from Switzerland, I must admit that you are right: Belgian chocolates are the best! On the other hand, the fact that my wife is from Belgian may also explain this assertion! Ardbeg is also one of my favourites! Have you tried the Caol Ila? Happy New Year and all the best, Michel Hi all, hoping to have some fun here and catch up with fellow smokers in melbourne for a relaxing session. Nice smooth drop. Thanks Bolivr, haven't tried any of the aussie malts yet, I think they are quiet $$ for a 500ml bottle but hey that is cause of our leaders being greedy with the TAX our poor cigars are coping it aswell.
Guest Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Ardbeg is also one of my favourites! Have you tried the Caol Ila? not yet i'm working my way around islay, lagavulin 16 is great also the bruichladdich PC series is a real peat monster.
