I'll be going to Cyprus at the end of April for a week and on the way back will spend a week in France. I did a search in the forum about the LCDH in Cyprus ( there is 4 total, which I find a lot for such a small place) but the info is from 2008.

Does anyone have any advice/info on the LCDH in Nicosia (that's where I'll be staying) or the one in the departure/duty free section of the Lanarca airport ?

On the way to or from, I might have layovers in London or Paris : anything there worthwhile at the duty free ?

I know it's a bit early to ask, but I like to plan ahead.

Thank you !

:coverears: All I know is that you'll be right in the nerve center of being able to acquire Ramon Allones Phoenician RE's and other hard to get Regionals that do not occur around places WE can get them outside of that part of the world! I'm certain you can go to any internet search engine or get on www.habanos.net or .com and find a reference for where the La Casa Del Habanos outlets are everywhere in the world. Have a lot of fun and smoke one for me!! :peace:

Sebastian,

Phoenicia T.A.A. (located in Cyprus) is the 2nd larger distributor of CCs (serving over 55 countries) so it's normal that there are 4 LCDHs in Cyprus. I visited (and still do) all 4 several times and all have plenty of everything. You will be very happy.

ME : :2thumbs::clap::D

MY WALLET : :surprised::thumbsdwn::tantrum:

Do you have any idea of what the prices look like over there ?

Seb,

Defenitly Defenitly DEFENITLY you have to pick up the Ramon Allones phonecia RE's...from what i've heard and read, probably the best RE's on the market. Buy a box, then share the love with your fellow montrealers :)

i have been to the one in Limmisol and the one in the airport both well stocked,the airport one was closed when i left (about 9pm) but i asked some one and they opened it for me,so if you get there late and its closed ask them (nicely) and i am sure they will do the same for you,not sure you will find any Phonecia thou as i think it's a middle east release and not avalible in Cyprus or Greece

It litterally takes about an hour on boat to go from Cyprus to Beirut. To get different cigars (and eat delicious food), it's well worth the trip.

You must have meant by airplane, because Larnaca and Beirut are 208 km apart. If not, that's a really fast boat !

I would love to visit Lebanon someday, but I'll only be in Cyprus for a week with my wife and father in-law and his wife, so I can't really leave (especially since it's my father in-law that invited us...)

Hovy, do you know any of the staff at the Nicosia LCDH ?

Just went to Trevor's website : :drool::drool: :drool: :drool: :drool:

Those wrappers are so dark they look like chocolate, MMMmmmmmmm !

I hope they'll have them in Cyprus, because like Hovy said, it's a Lebanon RE.
