Cigarjunkie Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 HI, Just to introduce myself a little further, myname is Olav Meijer and I live in Almere, the Netherlands. Great (little) country. Got a beautifull wife and 2 lovely kids. Been smoking for several years now, very active on a Dutch Cigar site for years, but thought to join a more global site now. So here I am! Started out smoking everything people call cigars, but since 2 years and a lot of trying out, I found my way. I love Cubans! Ehhhh.... the cigars I mean, as I cannot possible love all Cubans, there are some very ugly men and women there. Also some very nice women, but I'm married :-) Okay, I'm side tracking on this. Anyway, love cuban cigars and found myself to be bit of a horder (compulsive collector). resulting in to overly full cabinets and soon to be build mini walk-in. I was recently hired by La Casa Del Habano in Amsterdam were I will will be starting in January (don't worry, I will not be posting on behalf of the Casa, purely my own vision, thoughts or topics!). This is the preverbial "kid in a candy store" job. Okay, hope this satisfies the curiosity a bit, should you have any questions, always feel free to ask me. Greets from the netherlands, Olav

dB69 Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Welcome, Sir! You live in the country I love. Is there a new LCdH in A'dam? I usually find myself at Hajenius when in the town..
Cigarjunkie Posted December 12, 2011 Author Posted December 12, 2011 Welcome, Sir! You live in the country I love. Is there a new LCdH in A'dam? I usually find myself at Hajenius when in the town.. The new Casa del Habano is to open next week or if things go wrong, after Christmas. Hajenius is OK, the interior is beautifull and oozes the good old days, however, lately I noticed a drop in knowledge, service and quality, drop in the new Casa next time you're around, it is going to be quite nice!
