I would smoke that doobie until my brain dries out, and all in one setting!!! My only question would be how would one review it.... in thirds, or in thousandths?

Would hate to feel the nicotine kick from this baby!

I suppose, they don't use prime quality for an anyways unsmokable monster cigar,

but still - what a diabolic waste!

True. It is a waste. However if they chopped them up into smokeable sizes they can sell them for some good money. Just add a cap and you've got a piece of Guiness world record history.

Don't know if I should rat anybody out but I know some addictive personalitied folks who would have that entire thing smoked in less than 2 hours! And yep, Frank, that would be an excellent idea to chop it and cap it - but then it wouldn't be able to be displayed in museum or some sorts

Not so -

The source of the tobacco is one of the best vegas in San Juan y Martinez, the vega/farm of Hector Luis Prieto, Habano Man of the Year in 2008, who donated the tobacco for the record :

By IANS,

Havana : A Cuban man has set a new Guinness record, his fifth overall, by rolling an 81.8-metre-long cigar, the longest in the planet, Prensa Latina news agency reported.

Jose Castelar Cairo, who works as a cigar roller, achieved his feat in May during the 31th International Tourism Fair in Cuba, according to Opciones magazine. He will get his Guinness certificate at a ceremony Nov 24.

Castelar Cairo had also set Guinness records in 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2008 for similar feats.

He made the record-breaking cigar using aromatic leaves donated by tobacco grower Hector Luis Prieto, from Pinar del Rio province that boasts of one of the world's best tobacco.

"They make me very happy because I achieved all of them for my country, as I consider that the Guinness record for the longest cigar worldwide must always belong to Cuba, the land with the best premium cigars in the planet," Castelar Cairo said.

José (Cueto) Castelar rolls cigars at the "La Triada" shop at the Morro fort in Havana.

All of his record cigars from 01,03,05,and 08 are exposed at the shop hung up on the ceiling

and crossing from the shop's front door to the very end at the back .

Now with an 81.8-metre-long cigar and fifth record , I hope that there's still some room to hang up

this new world record cigar.

Maybe one day they will take all of these record cigars and place them in a Museum.
