IcedCanuck Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Last Saturday I went to the local cigar lounge to burn a couple sticks and relax a bit. First stick was a RyJ Short Churchill. I was not impressed at all. I was actually tempted to stub it out half way through. I didn't even start tasting cherries until about half way through the 2nd third and it was gone by the time I hit the last third. It was very disappointing and was probably the worst RyJ I've ever had! I sparked a RASS afterwards and thankfully even though it was young it still delivered all the goods. Now the real reason I'm posting this is because there were a couple older gents sitting in the corner and I couldn't help to overhear some of their conversation. Apparently the one guy frequents that lounge and he was commenting how he thought the proprietor(s) of the establishment must be keeping the escorts out because he never sees any. The waitress was denying knowing anything about that. He went on and on about how most cigar lounges he's been too has escorts. I've only been to a couple cigar lounges now and I do not recall ever seeing any. That being said I'm not really a suit & tie kindda guy so I wouldn't attract those high end whores anyway nor do I have any interest but it got me wondering just how prolific it actually is or if this guy was talking out his rear end.

CigarB Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I've never seen anything like this going on in the few lounges I've been to. However, we have a new "private" lounge opening in the next couple weeks and I'll have to see if this activity makes the membership privileges list!

Honestly in the higher-end cigar lounges in Manhattan it isn't uncommon at all...more than norm i would say, but can depend on the night of the week.
