It was one Looooong Day

Lucky we checked the address

Smithy and I were invited to film a segment on ShooAway with outdoors programme "Creek To Coast". No drama....It was to be shot at Boonah....about 45 minutes west from here.

Closer inspection showed we had to go through Boonah.......to Flannagans Reserve....near Kyogle....2 hours from here

It was one of those hot summer days...which gets hotter the further west you go....through farming country and then cattle country and then ...well...no mans land. It was 38 degrees Cesius Hot and I was dressed for the part in Jeans and Cuban Heeled boots.

So a BBQ was set up in the midday heat and we successfully got the Job done (goes to air 10th December) before we hopped back in the Jeep for the two hour trip back to Czar house. Thankfully I took two excellent HDM Epicure 2 for the return trip.

Back at 3pm in time for some wine filming with ken as well as a cigar review of the Ramon Allones Extra which we will post up Friday.

7pm and home. Into the pool wih my youngest Tom where we played and laughed for an hour before he had to exit and prepare for his schoolday.

I sat back in the pool, looked at the stars and enjoyed a little Partagas Short.

A long but great day indeed

Rod neglected to mention that at one point I got out of the car to look at the creek. So while I was standing beside the car he decides to just drive off and leave me to walk the 2km back to the site for filming. Thanks mate
