winelover Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Congratulations. Man Utd 1 Man Cty 6 That's the biggest home defeat inflicted on Man Utd since 1928 (apparently). Does the score line represent a "changing of the guard"? Only time will tell, City and Mancini are quite sensibly playing it down and keeping a cool head. I guess if they go on to win the league and start filling up the trophy cab maybe it might then be seen as a defining moment. Well done and good luck to Mancini et al.
CaptainQuintero Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Probably just a bad day at the office, Man U turned over Man C at the Charity Shield so both can do each other. Both are not very hot in Europe either at the moment so It's probably just a few bad patches. Then again, any team who has Johnny Evans in their squad nevermind team always has a chance of being turned over like that.
riazp Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 One of the biggest City Fans is the El Presidente Himself. i'm sure he is quite pleased with the result! i'm pretty sure he'll chime in.

Still Smiling It was aout 12:30 am when the game finished here and I had a tear in the eye. Man U were woeful in that second half. The two most pleasing things from a long suffering City supporter was how City ruthlessly and efficiently exploited the 10 man United side and the silencing of the Old Trafford red shirt crowd. It could have been 8.

A true City fan has deserted the team now as they are so used to losing that the concept of winning and winning well doesn't sit well with them. You should feel disgusted with your team for being so successful.
