TonyV
I moved my end table humidor to the basement during the spring time.I t was pretty easy to control the temp and rh with a room thermostat controlled air conditioner. Preparing for the winter months,a little more work. First i insulated all the steam pipes in the basement. Then bought a room humidifier which also has a sensor to turn it on or off when it hits the desired rh. Added another half pound of 60 rh beads and lastly put the hydra electric humidifier back in the humidor. Did i forget something?? What do you do to your humidor for the winter months?? Lotusguy
I am not changing anything - but then again, I live in NorCal... I have an electronic humidifier and a few pounds of beads for extra stability.
Skitalets
Once we start running a humidifier in the house I'll probably move my desktops into the same room. Otherwise no change.
mkz
I throw in an extra couple of heartfelt-tubes in my desktop humi during the winter. The RH usually goes down below 20% in our house during the cold months. My plastidors are less affected by the drought and only requires a little more water now and then depending on how often I open them.
