El Presidente Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Aussie Members have a look at the following in relation to Plain Packaging http://www.yourhealth.gov.au/internet/yourhealth/publishing.nsf/Content/plainpack-non-cig-tob-products We are dealing with the second consultation process. Consumers are encouraged to provide their views. Over your favourite drink this weekend, light a cigar and pen a one page response on your thoughts of the proposed legislation. Send it via the e-mail link provided on the Govt briefing. Spread the word. Any cigar loving mates Australia wide shoot them a link and get them to put a submission in. I don't want to stop our international members from helping the cause! Feel free to forward a submission based on many of the issues you have raised. I will ask all of you not to mention FOH or Cigar Czar in the submission. We don't need the attention Cheers and thanks Rob
riazp Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 With canada facing the same problem eventually I will defenilty read through this and voice my opinion. Best of luck to you Rob fighting this ridiculous legislation.
Guest rob Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 I will definitely be on this task. Damn.... just thinking about the absurdity of this Govt, and the state of this great country, has me so angry.
Guest rob Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 I just had this terrible thought that they'll receive so many submissions from us voicing our protest - and that they'll use that as validation for proceeding on this sill legislation because of the fact so many people smoke cigars!!
