beamer Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Snagged a box of these on a recent LFTH. They look magnificent. Has anyone smoked these when they're this young? Or do they really need to sit for a bit? Thanks.
stogieokie Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 I wouldn't touch 'em for about four to five years if it were me . . . They are FANTASTIC with considerable age. Good luck staying out of them.
beamer Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 Thanks for the insight. I'll likely check on one in a few days and then bury the rest in the humidor.
laficion Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 I wouldn't touch 'em for about four to five years if it were me These are smoking nicely now, so, smoke them Well, unless you really know where you'll be in 4 to 5 years from now
edlye Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 I had a SLB of 25s, STA FEB 10 that arrived a month ago. I just had a stick and it was a really good smoke after resting for a month at 65% RH. I've got a Czar SLB from around the same time (OPA ENE 10) and they're beautiful right now. No way these guys will last more than a year, much as I'd like them to.
Len Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Great to hear! I have a SLB of these from early 2010 that look & smell lovely!!
