When on, they're the best

I've heard this line be used wether describing a Marq, particular Vitola, or just as a general statement. I have used it myself from time to time. A couple weeks ago I was smoking at VR Unicos which totally blew me away. Rest of the cigars in this box were exceptionally good, but this one was in a league of its own. That cigar which gains all you attention without solicitation or expectations. It's creamy smooth with loads of clean, crisp flavor that nearly takes your breath away. I've encountered these surprises on only a few in recent memory, but when the stars align just right... there's no question you're smoking the best of the best.

This got me thinking. Wether it be a Reyes, or Lanceros, or Unicos, or D4 maybe it's possible any Vitola of any Marq could be called "The Best" when you happen across one of these rare gems. Cuban cigars which exceed the standard and are blended to perfection.

Yep,more than the sum of the parts.

It is rare,a large part is the cigar,a large part is the scenario.

I think about 1 from 20 cigars give that "Oh my God! This cigar! Oh my God!" -moment to me.

Last one was with Esplendido from 08. Oh, sweet mama!

Mag 46 one time near the end and had to relight and then BAM! Leaves you staring at it wondering how rolled up leaves can impart such amazement
