We are progressively finding out which Cuban Cigar has the highest rate of member satisfaction (and the lowest). I will run through the 30 most popular cigars during April/May/June and will provide an ongoing chart to see how the cigars stack up.

It should go without saying to only vote if you have actually tried one B)

A split personality cigar. Boxes from 02 & 05 have been stellar. In fact, probably the best cigar I've had from 05. Boxes from 06 & 08 good but not great. Wonder how more recent production is faring?

One of my all time favorites. I've smoked two boxes of '03s and I still marvel at the smooth, powerful complexity of this DC. Age does them wonders. These are better than most of the EL, RE and "special" cigars I've smoked. I haven't had other vintages because the '03s I bought were

so good I stocked up.

Smithy,

This is fantastic list and reference for us non-doyens out here. It also has that enticing factor to it where you just want to try out other cigars.

My only question is though, is it possible to see how many votes you got for each cigar in the chart. This would help provide a clearer picture on satisfaction and popularity.

Cheers

Slothy

One cigar from a given marque/vitola is hardly an indicator, but I liked the one I smoked very much and want a box. I actually have the time for a cigar of such immensity, given my work allows me three delightful hours in which to smoke a cigar each night.

I've been wondering which of the Big Four (RAGs, Lusis, SLR DC and HdM DC) would be the best box expenditure.

May I ask what job it is that allows you 3 hours of DC smoking time? May I also ask whether they are hiring?

As for the expenditure, I am a big Lusitania and RAG fan, personally. I've tried all regular production DCs and these are my favorites.
