Queensland Victory - State of Origin

I was waiting for Ken to post and crow about the Queensland win over NSW last night but he must be sicker that I thougth for Ken not to post and go on and on about the win so I am going to do it

I didn't really watch the game too much but just to see the Channel Nine commentary team (heavily NSW biased) eat humble pie oh the joy and also my late night text to my best friend who is a massive NSW supporter ... her response.... you ***** says it all

You can tell after watching a few of the highlights that the athletes from QLD are in a completely different league than those from NSW. Can they not field a decent squad down there?

On a side note, in recent years it has become popular for kids (and celebrities) in the US to wear NSW t-shirts when they know nothing about it...kinda like the Che t-shirt I guess...

a great performance by the mighty queenslanders with some great touches...

having said that the nsw boys had some very poor defending not becoming of an origin fixture.

...but the gulf in class between the 2 sides has been going for how long now? [Qland could give NSW a few players out of charity to make things more competitive]

Billy the cockroach Slayer!!!!! I've never understood this game. So do you have to fall down to score?

Once again little Billy down in Sydney will ask his dad why NSW never win.

Poor little Billy is now 6 years old and has yet to see his beloved state win a State of Origin in his life time. How many other kids are out there in NSW feeling they same way.

Maybe they may ask next year if they can support QLD for a change.

Poor kids.
