Vortigan Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Had a very peaceful day off,it's a lovely Summer's day, just a very nice lunch and now going to light up a BRC and watch Stakeout Haven't seen this film in a long time but I remember it as being very funny.
Vortigan Posted July 1, 2011 Author Posted July 1, 2011 Well that was good, enjoyed the film and The RC was very tasty! Burned a bit unevenly though and actually completely went out on me twice!! They've been at a constant max of 65/66% so I don't know why that would be.I guess it just happens, nubbed it though notwithstanding!!! :-))

As for the cigar, I like to keep my cigars at 62% and 65F. That tends to work well usually.

CaptainQuintero Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 I think it might be our humidity atm Vorti, the last two days I've had a RASS and Monte 2 both sitting happily at 63% but both went out around 5 times. It wouldn;t suprise me wither the weather system is nuts. Both cigars were fine for the first inch and then every half inch they spluttered out :/

The latest place I've found for my humi is the bottom of one the kitchen cupboards, back of the house that gets no sun. It's been pretty stable in there. The day I moved it I opened it up and found it creeping around the 74/75 degree temp!!! severe beetle territory!

Even given that "flaw," though, it's hard to get around what a wonderful smoke they truly are. My box is down to less than half now, so I'm hoarding them against a future desire and going to some other brands, both NC and CC, in order to see what a couple more months in the humi does for them.
