laficion Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Keep them coming José, This is great info As for the "Mad Dogs", honestly I like them and when you look at the price, 1 Euro for a bundle of 25, I like them even more. I had my frist El Crédito in Santiago de Cuba and like all the other local brands, I find them rather Tasty, great with an expresso.
Guest 321contact Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 By Punch Jo Wow, not thinking too hard one might think that in Cuba, Cubans can have whatever cigars they want. I didn't ever think about it before but it sounds like the average Cuban can't buy or afford a Partagas or Cohiba. Now I will think twice about complaining about a slight underfill or blemish on cigars I can afford to buy.
Charltonc Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 i have heard they are not horrible and worth the cost.
cigarros Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Yep very intersting information. First time I tried domestic CC a year ago, El Credito with simple blue band. They are good with coffee and at fishing=))
bassman Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 I''ve had several peso cigars on my trips to Cuba. Most were not that great, but a couple gems. Wish I'd kept the bands of the good ones.
anacostiakat Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Yes, good stuff. Thanks so much Jose! I want some.
