Do you guys take the cigars out of the tubes so they can breath or leave them in?

If you remove them from the tube they are much easier to light.

Personally I leave the cigar in the tube, but the tube open in a desktop humidor, but I have no clue what the best option is.

I've always left them in their tubes, caps on. Personally, I've found that tubed cigars retain moisture a little longer, taking a bit more time to shed that

moisture in the humidor. I do kind of like the idea of a micro climate within the climate of a humidor, but I don't know if that really amounts to anything.

regardless, it's worth checking tubed cigars for any kind of mold.

I immediately open and check all tubos upon receipt and then again after a few weeks. Otherwise they remain sealed in my humi.

Mine stay in the tube. Except for the spot check every so often.

I'm with Colt. I check all my tubos cigars for mold when i get them, but store the cigars in their tube with the cap on.
