Vortigan Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 I'm looking at Robustos and thinking one lighter and one stronger.Almost, but not quite, decided on HdM Epi #2 and Bolivar RC What do you think?
Vortigan Posted April 27, 2011 Author Posted April 27, 2011 But then I'm also thinking JL #2 and Mag 46 .......hell I want them all!!!!
Ghabanos Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 But then I'm also thinking JL #2 and Mag 46 .......hell I want them all!!!! I have to plug my fav robusto - partagas d4. I would say in my opinion strong
bc8436 Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Can't go wrong with the PSD4 if you're looking for a stronger smoke. Have you tried all the cigars listed above? If not, why not pick up a box of Robusto 'splits' from Czar. Get to try different cigars and see what you like.
Vortigan Posted April 27, 2011 Author Posted April 27, 2011 It's a funny thing knowing how well liked they are but I've found the PSD4 slightly oppressive (for want of a better word) and almost too strong in the past.Whereas I find The RC to be strong but more subtle in its flavour and aroma.I guess that's the beauty of each individual personal taste

The only one I've not tried to date is the HdM....I do like the idea of a box split very much, thanks for that :-)
tmac77 Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 If you are not to enamoured with the PSD4 then i would reccomend either the Bolivar Royal Coronas, or the HDM Epicure #2 for a more medium bodied but with lots of flavour. For a lighter bodied robusto, IMO you can't beat the ERDM Choix Supreme. A fantastic light bodied but memorable smoke.
