BatFastard Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 From the whistle blow to early on the Thomas save, which should have been a montreal goal, to the flops and fake montreal falls etc, I don't think the refs had any control last night and that is to bad. Lucic a game misconduct? wow.... Ummm... That was a blatant hit from behind. The Chara hit was fine as far as I'm concerned, but when a guy hits another player, full steam from behind, directly on the numbers, head first into the boards.... That is game misconduct worthy. Enough said.

That is game misconduct worthy.Enough said. Well I guess we disagree. I've seen much harder hits applauded in the game. The Montreal player turned to face the boards prior to being hit. Lucic just put a good solid hit on him, he never left his feet. 2 lines later and the player is back out skating? Its hockey, hard hits are part of the game, like when Pouliot left his feet to board someone in game three, if he connected would he have been tossed?

Tomorrow I take the Habs crest of my office door and will try to avoid the snarky comments from the unwashed (bitter Oilers fans).
