rckymtn22 Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Could be an overtime game... Nope! One down 3 to go!
Holysmokes Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Go Leafs Go! I actually thought you were a cool guy... How things change : )
headstand Posted April 15, 2011 Author Posted April 15, 2011 Nope! One down 3 to go! Wouldn't that be a treat - 4 game sweep!
headstand Posted April 15, 2011 Author Posted April 15, 2011 Go Leafs Go! You boys have a baseball team to keep you happy while the NHL playoffs are on
Strada Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Go Habs Go Pleks and Gomez played playoff style. Those days off kicked them in the a**!
Scdalak Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Boston in 6, wonder if Montreal fans will call 911 again.
CanuckSARTech Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Wouldn't that be a treat - 4 game sweep! Oh no. Dude, tell me you just didn't say that?? You do know that you've probably just jinxed things with that comment. Also, that's one of the most common and most boneheaded comments that people make during hockey playoffs. That's not something you can even DISCUSS until you're at least up 2 games. Yes, at 3 to none, it's something that's definitely on the front burner. But, only ONE GAME in??!?!? Just, just....no. Boston in 6, wonder if Montreal fans will call 911 again. Yup, good ol' Montreal. Wonder how many games it'll take until we get booing of the U.S. national anthem again.
CanuckSARTech Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 4 game sweep! 4 game sweep! LOL. Clint, sorry, it doesn't work as a jinx if you're a Leafs fan, like me. My wife and father-in-law are both die-hard Habs fans (they have a better taste in hockey than I do, fortunately ), and any jinxing coming from the opposite side doesn't work - trust me, I've tried.
tmac77 Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 DOH! One good thing about being a Leafs fan is that you get to play golf earlier than real hockey team fans As of me I will still be playing golf and rooting for les habitants in June.

tmac77 Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Yeah well don't forget about '93... Pretty funny Clint. Assuming that was a dream sequence cuz aren't leafs and their fans out on the golf course by mid April.
tmac77 Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Les Rouge et Blue now up 2 games to ... None heading back to Montreal.
Strada Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 The big bad Bruins have scored only 1 goal in 2 games...... GO HABS GO
headstand Posted April 17, 2011 Author Posted April 17, 2011 The bear will be very pissed next game - it will be a bruiser.
rckymtn22 Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Amazing! As much of a Canadiens fan that I am, I didn't think they would win 2 in a row!
cementhead339 Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Doesnt matter which team gets through. flyers will handle them, lol. I see a vision of the cup going down broad street. GO FLYERS !
BatFastard Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Doesnt matter which team gets through. flyers will handle them, lol. I see a vision of the cup going down broad street. GO FLYERS ! Just like the Flyers handled the Hawks last year eh? Sorry bud... As much as it pains me to say it, I don't think anyone can handle the Canuckleheads this year.
headstand Posted April 19, 2011 Author Posted April 19, 2011 After goal # 3 I just couldn't bear to watch anymore ...Habs will bounce back.
BatFastard Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 After goal # 3 I just couldn't bear to watch anymore ...Habs will bounce back. If you shut it off after goal 3 then you missed a hell of a game. Thomas was named first star! Stood on his head for the final 35 minutes of play.
Erm310mce Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 OK all you Hab fans..... If Boston wins game 4, I think they will be in great shape. Best of 3 with 2 games in Boston. Thomas is playing great. If the Bs continue to play tough hockey and don't get caught up in all the flops and falls, haven't seen that many since world cup soccer they got a great shot to win. Loved Ference going after Poliout, Bruins need to stay tough. Whenever these two teams play it's always a great series. Can't wait for the next game. A full 7 game series would be epic. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there are more Canadian born hockey players on Boston then there are on Montreal.
