Andy,

thanks for the great report and pics - what a great time !

Just back after 2 weeks travelling in Cuba and the days in HAV.

Jimmy stayed with me in Germany for a few days travelling the wine area and smoking with us at the pharmacy.

Good to spend time with you and the Irish gang and sharing fun at El Aljibe & Nacional smoking 109's plus watching my first and best baseball game ever.

I had the ultimate cigar smoker dream fullfilled - celebrated my birthday at El Laguito, a BHK 56 in my mouth and goosebumps all over as the rollers sang for me.

What else can anyone wish for ??

I'll start putting up pictures and some text on my site when my brain arrives ... must be still in Cuba having fun.

Pass my best regards to Stuart, Rob, Ian, Harry, Yorgos, Darren et al.

Just a few pics here, haven't started sorting them out yet.

Nino

Great pictures Nino and the pleasure was all ours.

What a great place to spend your birthday, some familiar faces of lovely people there.

I would have loved to have made it to Germany last week but I'd be divorced now if I had!

There's an event next Friday in St. James in London that I would give my right arm to be at, but no chance!

I hope you have a couple of pictures of my home run. ;)

Looking forward to seeing you in Dublin. :)

Ryan, I was hanging out with you, Stu, Rob, Dara, Bogusha and the rest of you degenerates at Hotel Nacional a few nights and at some club you guys dragged me to until 4 in the morning the night I was leaving. (Thanks, by the way - the trip home was lovely.)

I already feel a need to be there next year again. I will dig out a few photo's from the trip too and post.

Kids at another Music School in a house in a Havana neighborhood playing with the Jazz Drumming legend, Albert "Tootie" Heath. They need to use all the space effectively at this small school with 200 students - all percussion is taught on the roof.

Don Candido of course, you know I thought there was something familiar about you, next time I'll know who you are. Great pictures by the way.

The last club I saw you in was the Gato Tuerto, you left too early at 4 am, Osdalgia Lesmes was just coming on.

The following act was some Irish guys stamping out "The Fields of Athenry"!

See you next time in Havana..

Nice video! I did see the start of her set. Someone who said she was her sister was talking to me during it. She was a cutie. What a fun club. I should have found it before my last night. The last thing I remember is looking at my watch, realizing how late it was, looking up and seeing Bugusha, and quickly excusing myself to run back to the hotel....

I will be back to experience this incredible town again.

any news on the pricing of the new ELs?

Not that I saw. I've heard rumours of BHK 56 prices for the Cohiba 1966 but I can't see them beng that expensive.
