Ladies and Gents,

My name is Michel Clavette from Montréal, Québec, Canada (but my friends call me Mike). I'm 42 years old and work in the field of radiocommunications. I have several hobbies amongst which: woodworking, mechanic, welding, blacksmithing, kayaking and fishing. I have an antique truck, a 1957 Fargo Power-Wagon (thus my avatar) of which you can see pictures in one of my online photo albums.

I've been smoking and ageing cigars for a few years but only smoke when the occasion is right so four or five times a year.

My current stock of CC is comprised of:

- Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos

- Cohiba Maduro 5 Magicos

- Cohiba Panetelas

- Partagas Shorts

- Partagas Culebras

- Por Larranga Petit Coronas

- San Cristobal de la Habana El Principe

as well as few NC:

- Padron 2000 Maduro

- Padron Series 1926 Maduro #6, #35 and 80th

- Padron Family Reserve 45th Maduro

Next April I'll be going on vacation with family members in Cuba and plan to bring back a box each of the following:

- Cohiba Maduro 5 Genios and Secretos

- HDM des Dieux

- SLR Genios

- PLPC

- R&J Duke (if still available)...

...along with a few bottles of Havana Club Barrel Proof and Legendario Elixir de Cuba.

Looking forward having great exchanges with the FOH here!

Regards,

Mike

Salut Michel,

When in my neck of the wood, I smoke at home on special occasions. But when I travel, I like sometimes find a nice place to take a drink and have a cigar. For example, in Québec City there is the Société Cigare located in the same building as the Maurice nightclub.

I did walk past Stogies but never stopped by. In Montreal, other places to smoke cigars include the LCDH, the Whisky Café, as well as the Queue de Cheval and the Rib'n Reef restaurants.

Next time I sleepover in Ottawa, I must try the Bacchus cigar lounge located in the Hilton Lac-Leamy and casino in Gatineau.

Regards,

Mike

Mike,

Bacchus is a really nice place, I've met a lot of great people there. Stoggies is also really nice. You can bring your own cigars and they don't charge a cutting fee. Boustans is right across the street and is a good place to grab a bite to eat before going for a cigar.

Salut Mike, and welcome,

Four or five times a year shows an admirable restraint.

I lived in Montréal for a few years, in Mile End. It's a wonderful city.

Best,

Pete

Hey Mike.

Welcome to FOH.

We're actually thinking of an FOH Canada get together @ Bacchus sometime this or next year. Perhaps you can assist?

Welcome to FoH Mike. Enjoy the forum. I have a feeling that if you are going to be hanging out around here, you are going to be smoking cigars quite more often that five times a year.
