Used to be a Berlin also but they changed the name to Kitchener in 1916 as a result of anti German sentiment . The name Kitchener was in honour of Lord Kitchener, Britain's Minister of War who was killed in action in 1916.

And I thought I was only going to learn about cigars here! Thanks for the lesson!
