docbp87 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Snow, and the ice that always follows here in Virginia... my latest, greatest enemy (meniscus... torn... thanks to some G D ice, and my clumsy, and fat ass) Hope everyone stays safe, and warm! Glad that stuff all missed us...
samb Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 The "coolness" wears off in a hurry. Doesnt it have to be "cool" for snow to happen in the first place? Nice pices, it snowed a little here, and right now the temp is 4 F in Texas!! I love it!! But, the roads are iced over and my town cant handle it well, its basically shut down.
Loki Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Looks just like Jersey. Tuesdays have been our strom day of choice, 3 outa the last 4.
habanohal Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 all roads around me are closed right now. Plows havent been here. Called a friend at fron of subdivision and he said dont try too leave. 6 ft wall of snow at the intersection.
stogieokie Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 We're holed up for day number two here. Unfortunately I can't smoke in the house either. And to think last Friday it was 72 degrees and I was sitting on the patio in shorts and a t-shirt enjoying some smokes and beers . . . Saturday was pretty nice as well so I at least got a few sticks in me in preparation.
habanohal Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 we need too be dug out cause a regular plow is niot gonna cut it
Mr.T Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 It's a crazy, crazy winter all over the country. Be safe everyone and for those of you who don't have a snowblower, happy shoveling We've had our snowpocalypse in Minneapolis and it took days just to dig out of our homes, cars etc.. We're at 60 inches for the season with two more months of winter to go.
Puros Y Vino Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Wow. We haven't gotten it that bad in Toronto so far. The snow is pretty steady but not that deep. I'm in the city though, the burbs are probably getting more. At least 2/3 of the office staff came into work which is a good sign.
