Dmar Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 I recently did a box split of P2s w/BOTL last week , & came home this evening to find my split waiting for me . the kick of it all was that my share wasn't paid for yet . Being from the streets of NYC I didn't expect such a gesture from someone I didn't know . I just like to remind everyone that there is still Honor amongst some of our BOTL .

I think you will find that this type of trust and friendship is more of the rule than the exception when you are involved with and deal with similar established members of the CC community wheather it be on this forum or in general.
aes8 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Qft. I was on another board for about 4 years, the first trade I did the guy got my end in under a week and he ended up stiffing me. Went on to make probably 40 or so more trades that all worked out great. Lol. The first trade I did was in '98 and on Ebay before they banned tobacco trades. The buyer was a car salesmen and needed his end (Parti 150's NC) to make a sale. Long story short he lost the sale but got his end one day later. He somehow got my work number and started calling me at work and threating me. After a few "gfys" he went away. After that its been all near perfect trades and transactions in addition to being the recipient of some incredible generosity.
Kangaroo495 Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Also did a trade once on another forum. It was a Cuban - NC trade. They guy was American, and hadn't really smoked any Cubans before. No matter how I tried, I could not get the cigars out of Russia by post. NO-ONE would take them. The poor guy sent me his box anyway, and said not to worry about the trade, he had plenty of cigars to spare. What a legend! So what if they were NCs, there were about 25 of them, and some decent brands. Of course I fixed the situation by finding an online good quality vendor who was able to ship cigars... some of you might know the vendor.. First letter C, then z... ? Now I'm stuck here.

Daverazz Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Brothers/Sisters of the Leaf are remarkable. nuff said.... and if you screw over a fell BOTL, well then, you are not a true brother. And the fools that decide to take advantage of another don't stick around too long, word travels fast.
