As you can see it normally has 25-30 metre clearance from high water mark to the bridge. Diana took this picture looking at the bridge ( now underwater) 10 days ago. Ken G . . in his youth (teens perhaps) actually in my 30's. it is what clean living (and clearly other things) does for one. re the two photos, i am not doubting as i was here for them, and in 74, but i cannot work out the angles. the river is too thin in the second one and why the line of lights running down the middle. can D clarify exactly where as i am quite fascinated.

Ken The second photo is looking back at Centennary bridge....ie DFO is on the right (white building).
