thechenman Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 DFH is my favorite beer. I've had just about every brew these guys make. Bites Brew is good, but try the Jiahu if you get the chance. It's absolutely amazing. My personal favorite is their Burton Baton. Tastes like an Oakes 90 Minute IPA. The 120 Minute IPA is great also.

Loki Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Tried it, loved it. I have been a DFH fan for a long time. I remember the 1st release or Midas Touch, delicious. I still have 3 bottles of Olde School, 15% abv barley wine. Sadly I forgot to date the bottles but I would figure it has to be from 2003. I like Sam's show Brew Masters , though as with any TV notoriety his beer will be more coveted than ever thus his small batch brews will be harder to find.

broozer Posted February 1, 2011 Author Posted February 1, 2011 I'll have to try the ******* Brew. good luck finding any bottles of it. i found two places a few states away with it, but they wouldn't ship it to me. a mate up in the NE finally secured my 3 bottles. i am saving the other two to drink at a later date, but i have been informed by at least 3 people that i should have both drank in the next two years or it will start going down hill. bruce
thechenman Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 I think that most beers aren't built to age...not unless they have a sufficiently high ABV...if they don't, then IMHO...fresher is better.
