tcbc Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Hello all! Just joined from Texas, looking forward to learning more about the "art" of cigar smoking
Montaigut Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Welcome TonyCh, Only speaking for myself of course: I'm not a cigar artist... more like a journeyman looking for the simple pleasures in life!
tcbc Posted January 8, 2011 Author Posted January 8, 2011 I might add that I am very happy to have found this extremely informative board. I have learned much in the short time I've been lurking. I am relatively new to CC smoking. I have enjoyed NC for several years now but have really enjoyed theCC's. I have enjoyed Monte 2's and 4's along with Hoyo de Monterrey Épicure No.2's. I really have liked the Monte 2's so far the best. Any suggestions or insight is greatly appreciated.
Montaigut Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 My friend suggestions you will find on this board by the shovelfull!! Go by your tastes and try different cigars. Tastes are really personnal so to each his own. What I find usefull on this board though is info on "bad years", bad launches, etc... mostly what to avoid rather than what to try if that makes any sense to you. I must admit that when the bunch at Czar raves over a cigar I will give it a try!
