A sad day for music

Today I heard that Gerry Rafferty died from liver failure.

His hit song Baker Street is still a firm favorite of mine and his album City to City.

His music is part of the soundtrack of my life.

Mick Karn, bassist extrodinare from the art rock band, Japan, also passed away from cancer. RIP.

*I have 3 of Gerry Rafferty's CD's. His music "Baker Street", "Home & Dry", "Right Down The Line"...it's making my heart get tugged as I reminisce. Thank you, Warren, I may not have learned of his passing in a timely manner, otherwise. Not familiar with Mick Karn, but our well wishes and condolences for his Next Of Kin, too. Well now the two of them can entertain Our Lord with their sweet music, along with Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau who are also up there giving God belly laughs
