habanablue
Smoked one of these New Year's Day. What a waste of time. Best I can say about it is that it had a great draw. Would have prefferred the Santa Damiana's I flicked to my brother in laws who joined me for a smoke. Not sure if any amount of time in the Humi can improve these. Sutton
Yeah I had one of these guys & found it very plain until the last 3rd and then the Partagas flavours finally came out but it did not last wrong. I think it probably is worth laying down for atleast a couple months and then trying again.

Pulled out another while on vacation last week and thought it was a terrible waste of time. I would take the D4 over these all day long.
mb55317
I've had two of these in total, the first i thought was excellent and the second just ok. They're very young still so maybe given more time they'll improve
bassman
I've been off ELs for a couple years. Last one I got was the Cuaba Piramide. Terrible smoke when fresh, but now really turning into a good cigars. I liked some of the early ELs- Party Piramides & MC DC especially good. But lately, IMHO, ELs are overpriced mediocre cigars. I've enjoyed a couple of 'em recently.
habanablue
Yeah I had one of these guys & found it very plain until the last 3rd and then the Partagas flavours finally came out but it did not last wrong. I think it probably is worth laying down for atleast a couple months and then trying again. Interesting...after my recent rant I went back to a review I did on my blog back in June and found a similar experience, it only 'came alive' in the last third. This one I had on New Year's Day offered nothing throughout.
riderpride
The two I've had have been pretty boring; vegetal with a highly muted Partagas taste on the final third. Burns have been pretty poor too.
